In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul identifies four traits of exhibited by people who are not resting securely in God's love: jealousy, boastfulness, pride, rudeness, and demanding one's own way. These are traps we have all fallen into. Understanding God's nature and how He loves us will help prevent us from falling into those traps.
